About Us

.
The Hicksville Seventh-day Adventist Church was established here June 2, 1894. There were 17 members. We met at homes in the beginning and occasionally in the open country. Our current church building was purchased and moved here and our first church service was held on April 6, 1929. Our first pastor was Merle Mills from 1939 to 1941. Prior to this services were led by one of the local members. We now have a membership of 17 and our pastor is Pastor Patrick Mazani who came to us from Zimbabwe by way of Kettering Ohio. We are part of a world-wide organization with more than 18 million members in countries around the world.  We would be happy to have you join us in worship or at one of the church events listed on our calendar.

About Seventh-day Adventists
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. More >>
